报告人简介：

井新，现为比利时鲁汶大学博士后，2014年毕业于北京大学，获得自然地理学博士学位。研究内容是关注不同空间尺度的生物多样性整合分析，尤其是生物多样性和生态系统功能的关系以及全球变化对地上和地下过程的影响。研究项目主要在全球草地(Nutrient Network)和欧洲森林(FunDivEurope)等多个国际联网平台开展。本次讲座将以生态系统多功能性的量化方法为主，介绍当前的研究进展，遇到的挑战以及解决办法。

Xin Jing is a postdoctoral associate at Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven) and holds a PhD in Physical Geography (2014, Peking University). His research is oriented towards biodiversity synthesis at different spatial scales, focused on biodiversity and ecosystem function relationships and the effect of global change on above- and belowground ecosystem processes. His research involved in several international science networks (Nutrient Network, FunDivEurope) with ongoing projects in global grasslands and European forests. He will present his work about the challenges in quantifying ecosystem multifunctionality including current status, challenges and resolutions.
